There are a few parks in Fort Collins, Colorado for children. The first park is the Swetsville Zoo. The Swetsville Zoo is a free park that has over 150 metal sculptures in the shapes of animals. It was built by Bill Swets from car parts, farm machinery, and scrap metal. The second park is Fort Fun. Fort Fun is designed for the whole family. There is something for everyone to do. These activities include mini golf, go karts, laser tag, bumper cars, bowling, air hockey tables, arcade, batting cages, giant slide, train ride, paddle boats, straw maze, and ice skating.
The third park is the Horsetooth Mountain Park. The Horsetooth Mountain Park is a great place for the family to hike up a trail to see the Horsetooth Rock. Once you get up to the rock, you can see some of the best views of the city. There is also a lake inside of the park for the kids to swim in. The fourth park is Lee Martinez Park. The Lee Martinez Park has a playground for the kids, a picnic area, basketball and tennis courts, and a farm. There is a little something for everyone in the family here.
